About

Stone Creation Studio was borne out of my passion for working with stone. What started out as a hobby is today a thriving stone and letter carving business.

I am a formally trained graphic designer and have transferred these skills over the past decade to work in stone and slate. Drawing and design are after all fundamental parts of the process to creating unique carved pieces of work. My creative experience combined with a sensitivity to the material enables me to produce individual and beautifully hand-carved commissions.

Working from my Cambridgeshire studio, I continue to appreciate and embrace the traditional skills used to work in stone and slate.

I am proud that my designs have been exhibited throughout the East of England, including at Ely Cathedral and Snape Maltings in Suffolk.

“Fiona is truly deserving of this award. Her entry demonstrated a real passion for her craft. The Trust is founded on a tradition of nurturing talent and the Trustees were particularly impressed by Fiona’s commitment and proactive approach to on-going learning. We’ll continue to support Fiona as her career progresses and wish her continued success with her work.”
